After a working career of being a graphic designer, carpenter, surveyor and GIS analyst, I have (in my spare time) explored many art media, with wood sculpture/wood carving & printmaking really taking hold. Now I am exploring combining relief carving (expressed through embossing) and printmaking. I love the challenge of working with both 3D & 2D in the same piece. I was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest so natural land forms and patterns of nature are a big draw to me (pun not intended!).
