It’s joyfully freeing to give up what you think your art should be. In doing so, I rediscovered my love of creating and set about it in a myriad of fun ways. I grab my watercolor “kit” and set up in the great outdoors. Much of my work is done in Colorado: on a log, a picnic table, a mountain top, a boat, a bench (while moving a baby stroller with my foot), even Red Rocks in February (discovering the cool patterns watercolors make on a page when they freeze because it’s February at Red Rocks and it was a terrible idea). 

My kit comes on all my adventures and travels, big and small, near and far. My mini calendars showcase works done in Colorado, California, Michigan, Fiji, and, of course, my imagination.

In my home studio, I love to play with impressionistic acrylic paintings (from teeny-tiny canvases to playful combinations of large canvas sizes) and approximately three hundred super fine-line pens to make an estimated two million tiny dots into something vibrant and fun. My Art is about fun and creatively living in the moment. I hope you get a dose of that and enjoy!
