More about the artist:

I am a nature artist with a love of color and pattern. I am from Colorado originally (CU Denver grad), which has had a big influence on me as an artist. The media I primarily use is gouache, but I love printmaking and oils as well. I work en plein air and from photographs; most of my work comes from the backyard or from trips I take with my fiancé. A few years ago I moved to the woods in Wisconsin, and being immersed in new scenery has opened up my work even more with new colors, subjects, and media (I've been trying watercolor and embroidery).
