I am an abstract, acrylic painter who works intuitively, meaning I do not have a preconceived idea of what a painting will become when I step up to the canvas. I try to turn my brain off as much as possible and move from my body, making color choices and brush marks that are open and spontaneous. As a painting nears completion, more formal ideas of color relationship, composition and the movement of a piece come into play. I am a mama to two sweet kids and one furry Aussie Shepherd and love being outside in nature as much as possible.
